BBC, otherwise a great news organization, has some people with distinct anti-Pakistan bias.
Pakistan’s map is usually shown without any reference to Azad Jammu & Kashmir. There is no reference to the disputed status of Indian occupied Kashmir either.
India’s maps on BBC.com, however, dutifully show Kashmir as part of India.
If enough Pakistanis politely and forcefully complain about this and request that both the Pakistani and the Indian administered parts of Kashmir be shown as disputed territories, then maybe the editorial board there might consider it. If nothing else, they should know that Pakistanis don’t accept this.
