Who said “justice is blind”? It’s also cross-eyed!

Who said “justice is blind”? It’s also cross-eyed!

It conveniently condemns all wrongs by those who oppose it but is medically unfit to acknowledge those committed by it’s supporters.

But the guy even with his cross eyes can see the truth and has the courage stand by it, unlike “others” who ignore the injustice and cheer for the Yazzed-e-Waqt :P

What truth is that, may I ask?

Is it when he condemns the incidents on May 12 but ignores it when his own lawyers set armored cars to fire on Sept 28th or attack Sher Afgan Khan Niazi?

Or is it when a contempt of court warning is issued to Sher Afgan Khan Niazi for not accepting the decision of the Supreme Court regarding his re-instation and nothing is done when Muneer A Malik openly denounces one, allowing Musharraf to contest the Presidential elections in his uniform, on air?

Or is it when he fights to get his job back under the garb of “freedom of judiciary” with the same man who is responsible for orchestrating the “physical” attack on the Supreme Court building on 28th Nov 1997, Mr. Nawaz Sharif? Why doesn’t he or his best friend Aitzaz Ahsan remind Nawaz Sharif of this and tell him that before Musharraf, he’s the one guilty of contempt of court! No sir, that’s not how the game is played!

Or is it when he releases a number of Red Mosque terrorists convicted by the authorities, and known to have committed crimes like kidnapping the “Zakira” Aunty Shamim and fellow women, or kidnapping policemen, or burning the government building near their “stronghold” or destroying property and burning cds, ON BAIL! Yes, released on bail, not by lack of proof. And funny why no suo moto action was taken against them.

Or is it when he took oath under the first PCO and refused to take oath under the same, the second time?

Or is it when he always said it was not a political movement and Justice(R) Tariq Mehmood kept saying it was?

No, my dear brother, this is not a fight for the “truth”. It’s actually very far away, undermining all efforts of the last eight years, creating a “manufactured” judicial crisis in the country and diverting the attention of the people from the real issues, e.g. rising food and oil prices throughout the world and how to cope with them.

I always think: Judges ne aa kay kya humain chapatiyan bana ke khilani hain?

It’s a deliberate attempt to destabilize the country.

And please don’t use the word “Yazeed-e-Waqt” for any one.

For one to exist their must also be a “Husain-e-Waqt”!
